Got word this weekend that the Pounder rods are being shipped to my house this week!!! I have been fishing with mine since the spring...only rod I have actually thrown to be honest with you. This new rod is amazing...strong enough to BOMB pounders and other large baits, yet soft enough and fast enough tip to throw a small bucktail, twitch baits, topwaters, etc...
As I have said many times, I am a ONE rod type of guy and when I designed this rod, I still wanted it to be a ONE ROD FITS ALL type of rod. From small baits to the biggest of rubber....this rod can and will handle it all.
More info later on when exactally they will be ready... Same length, at 9 ft and same thick cork. These rods are also the lightest of the XH rods on the market. Less weight equals less fatigue. Just an all around killer rod.
Bring on the fall giants....
