I don't know why the gills in the "honey hole" you told me about on the phone today stopped biting, but the ones in the Escanaba harbor still are! I also watched a couple young fishermen catch a nice mess of big perch fishing from shore! They were just bobber fishing with small minnows in about 2 feet of water, right near the boat launch.
