We headed out today to Middle Island and began perch fishing, we had rough conditions (muddy water) and 3 foot waves. We didn't catch and decided to walleye fish so we put on casting harnesses and began working the shallow reefs and only caught 1 walleye. We made a decision to go back to perch fishing and find some cleaner water. We ran to the North East corner of North bass and the Canada border and waxed 90 perch with an average of 9.5 inches. We really took the whole day but it was very nice and had a good time.
