Water temperatures continue to hold in the low 60's. Currently, we are still in a pre-turnover scenario.

Bluegill activity seems to be best at the weed lines and over the weed tops, although there are still fish suspended on Lake Monona.

Musky reports have been varied, with some activity on the inside weed lines, with others coming on the outside weed edges. Some typical locations this time of year include along John Nolan Drive, from Olen Park to Turville Point, from Turville Point, across the mouth of Turville Bay, to Slueter beach, Lake side of the rock pile in front of Squaw Bay, Wlydehaven, and in front of the Yahara River by Yahara Park on Lake Monona; Lake Farm Park to Hog Island, Cristie's to Goodland Park, off Tower Road, and in front of Babcock Park on Lake Waubesa.

Both Lakes Waubesa and Kegonsa have been experiencing some active perch along the outside weed lines in several areas.

Lake Mendota small mouth bass have been a little more active as of late. Reports of fish in both shallow and deep water locations.

Shore fisherman have been finding more success off the Convention Center/Wall as well as in the Triangles and Monona Bay.

We're currently running a special in store: 25% off All St. Croix Rods. This offer is good until October 17.

Are bass hitting anywhere with the cooler temps? Would like to get out this weekend before putting the boat away for the season.
