Had a group of 4 depart this morning after 3 days of mostly crappie fishing. The bite was on in OB and they had some of the best crappie fishing they've ever had.
One of the guys counted the last day and threw back 93 crappies on his own in 5 hours. Not too shabby! Size was excellent for them as well.
The key for them was anchoring to keep the movement to a minimum, using light tackle, small jigs and minnows. He commented the anyone moving even the slightest bit too fast with current or wind had trouble catching them because of the light bite.
We've got some openings through October if anyone wants to get a little piece of that action.
