Powder Coating

Has anyone ever had a rivetted aluminum boat powder coated? Wondering if the heat from the oven would cause the rivets to stretch and the boat to leak?

Never Powder.... Have painted aluminum boats both fresh aluminum and pre-painted w/ Omni Acrylic Enamel from Carquest. It will stand up to scraping on and off the trailer as good as factory... IMO Tell them what you are doing and they can set you up.. Must be clean and primed with a GOOD etching primer
