Have the salmon started runnin yet I havnt heard anything but that means nothing. Usually by the time you hear about something its a week old. I wanna take my girls down to the ford and show em some kingers.

They are running behind schedule this year. I talked to people that fished at prime time last Monday and Saturday that never saw a fish jump. Diane finally got a report of a fish being caught on Sunday morning.

I checked the Escanaba River last Monday. I saw 4 small fish porpoise, (might have been the same fish for all I know,) and never had a bite. The recent rain and high current flow should bring them in any day now.
