I was reading the newspaper on wednesday, and it stated in the fishing section, that suckers are hard to find. Does anyone have any info on that? We will be up at big st. germain on 22 sep and intended to fish with suckers.

No small ones in St. Germain last weekend. Best to call ahead. Kurts had some.

Stopped by the R&H Musky Shop (RHMS) Friday night and talked with the boys and asked them about the suckers... It seems with the high water sucker trapping is difficult this fall, therefore the shortage. RHMS has them though smalls are not real available... I know Rob has said he has fished with them, suspect he is getting them from Ray, but don't know for sure, JimL may know that a bit better than I.

Ray got in 100 this weekend including some smaller ones. He had plenty when I stopped in Sunday morning. I bought a 47 gallon tupperware container and have an electric aerator. When suckers come in I buy them in bulk and keep them in the tupperware tank in my garage..
