trolling and quick set rigs for suckers

can anyone please advise me if trolling is legal on big st. germain, and can you use a quick set rig on a sucker for musky. Any musky fishing advice for late september would be appreciated.

Trolling is definitely not legal on Big St Germain. You can use quick set rigs for suckers. If you float them away from the boat on a bobber make sure you don't use your trolling motor at all or you can be busted for trolling. If you want to use your trolling motor to move yourself along a weed edge for example you can hang your suckers vertically over the side of the boat. These are words that came directly from our area warden's mouth.
