Jenks Fishing Report - Sunday, September 5, 2010
================================================== ==========
Walleye:
Walleye fishing still not exciting--maybe cooler water will help. Crawlers still seem to be the bait of choice.
Muskie:
Muskie still moving best on bucktails--black and green is still the most active.
Crappie:
Crappie are hitting ok but you've got to find them. They're scattered all over: they've gone from the bogs to the cribs to the weeds... Minnows seem to be best.
Panfish:
Bluegill fishing is good. Crawlers and worms in 15ft--ish is best.
Bass:
Smallmouth slowing a little but can still be caught on crawlers in the wood.
Weather report
Cooling in the 60's with scattered rain on Mon and Tues.
Water level
Water level is still good. I'd say the lake is less than a foot down.
Water temperature
Cooler days and nights (33 in hayward last night) has dropped temps into the mid to upper 60's.
Good luck fishing everyone.
