We are heading up to Oak Island this weekend for a week in God's country. Just looking for a little direction for my brother and I when we are chasing walter and friends.
Walleyes -- are they still hitting spinners? Cranks? Rock reefs, shorelines or deeper mud if we can find them. Any colors spinners/beads working best?
Will the cooler temps turn on the jig bite?
For the muskies, are they moving on one thing more than others? Topwater, blades, jerks?
I am hoping Frank and some of the fellow anglers on the island can share some info with us while we are up there, but if any of you are local or just coming back from a trip, any info would be appreciated. I will be sure and post a summary report once we get back home.
