The weather has been pretty wild up here as of late. Lots more rain and wind caused us to have a few clients end up with shortened trips. This was a bad deal since the fish were going quite well. Water temps are in the mid 70's and the water level isn't going down anytime soon.

Musky and walleye action has been good day or night with lots of both in the weeds and on the break-lines. For the walleye we are still getting them on crawlers and cranks. Musky action has been good on jerkbaits and topwater.

Thanks to all that shared a boat with us this past week! Congrats to Ryan and Jess on their marriage and landing their first muskies.

Hello Brian,

Sounds like the fishing has been great! Our group is really loooking forward to our Musky outing -- just over a week away.

The weather forecast suggests a bit of a cooling pattern over the next week to 10 days --- and sunny for the end of next week. What are your thoughts on how this pattern will set us up?

Cheers,

Doug

Hey Doug,

I don't think things are going to change much until we get a long cool spell...the only change I see right now is some of the big pike are starting to show up more and more with the cooler nights we have had. My biggest wish is for the wind to calm down...most days as of late it is stronger then we need or like.

See you soon!
