The King Salmon are still biting even with surface temps reaching 75 degrees. The deepest fish we caught to date is 177ft. down in 180ft. of water. These are big four year old fish though. What an amazing fish coming up from that depth and putting up a fight you wouldn't believe. I have included some pics of the Ron Mc Phail crew, what a great catch. First morning we were done in about 2 1/2 hrs. with a limit of twenty and had around 35 fish on.
The Bay is really warm around 82degrees but there is still some good Bass fishing and Walleye fishing to be had and some pretty good Perch fishing also. I have checked with my contacts for this info. I am between boats right now I expect to be up and running with my 2011 621 Ranger by early to mid Sept. I can't wait.
