We had the pleasure of having my good friends Jim's Taxidermy Port Clinton, OH and friends to join us for a two day trip with all intentions of catching a fish so Jim would have to mount it for us. Low and behold Jim catches a 31.5 King Salmon and a 23 pound Steelhead he had to mount for himself. Jim claims this is the largest fish he's ever caught and his smile really says it all. We continue to pound the Bouy area out of Point Breeze NY 35/13 line and the fishn could not be any better, I believe this has been the best Salmon fishing I've ever seen. We are using a simple program 4 riggers down 58 to 103 feet with 20 feet leads. Spoons are gloe ghost, froggy glow, purple thunder and nucleur frog. Divers off wire 220 feet back on a #2 setting. We are fishing in 637 feet of water.
