First-timer to the area and I've found this forum unfortunately late. Still, a guy's gotta try ... Will have my 10-year-old with me this weekend, driving up from Antigo. Looks like we might put in @ Voyageur Lake area (various reasons) Saturday a.m.
First, we need fish (re: 10-year-old); any big size or wide variety is secondary to boating some good action, but would love to find some walleye or especially northern for the youngster. We're not the most veteran but we're also not beginners.
Any quick and easy tips (locations, etc.)? -- I'm assuming Eagle and Catfish lakes ought to have some good shelves and weed beds?? THis is a big, rare opportunity for us and like I said, just kicking myself I didn't find this forum sooner.
