Was back out on Tuesday with 3 clients and the fishing was much better than what it was on Sunday. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with half crawlers, we started out working shallow wind blown boulders and came up with 1 big smallie. We then tried a wind blown bog with zero results. We then anchored in 13 feet of water and worked a 7 foot deep ledge and came up with another big smallie. We then tried wind blown log jam bays and came up empty. As stormy weather moved in on us, we moved closer to the landing and tried a couple of 8 foot deep humps and came up with 6 eyes, 4 of which were keepers, we called it a day at noon.
Back out today to access the damage and hopefully catch some decent fish, will keep you posted.
