As a lot of people were afraid would happen, the judge gave these three criminals a slap, well not even that ,on the wrist.

Three of the 13 Milwaukee fishermen cited for overbagging panfish on the Chippewa Flowage on May 21 were assessed forfeitures plus restitution after they didn’t appear in Sawyer County Circuit Court on July 13 and did not file not guilty pleas.
Found guilty by default were:
• Aaron M. Conley, 34, who was assessed a forfeiture of $544.50 plus restitution of $1,295 for possessing 197 panfish including 135 crappies — 76 percent or more over the limit. The possession limit is 50 panfish of which 30 may be crappies (double the daily bag limit). Conley also forfeited $544.50 for possessing fish in excess of 75 percent of the daily bag limit.
Conley’s DNR privileges are revoked for three years, which may be reduced to two years if the forfeiture and restitution are paid prior to the Sept. 13 deadline.
• Dwight S. Kirksey, 56, possessing 142 panfish including 106 crappies — $544.50 forfeiture plus $805 restitution. His DNR privileges are revoked for three years, which may be reduced to two years if the forfeiture and restitution are paid off early.
Kirksey also forfeited $243 for possessing 25 percent or less over the daily bag limit of panfish.
• Kevin D. Eheriff, 52, possessing 97 panfish including 63 crappies — $544.50 forfeiture plus $411.25 restitution. His DNR privileges are revoked for two years, which can be reduced to one year if the amount owed is paid off early.
The other 10 fishermen cited in the Chippewa Flowage incident pleaded not guilty, either by mail or phone. A Sept. 16 status conference has been scheduled for them.
Why no jail time???? Disgusting!! I think it's time for the judge to MAN UP !
