This Group was very special to me, Dick (LT) called me and told me this was a reunion of Vietnam War Buddies and that it was the first time they had got togeather for a reunion. We headed out 28 miles in 42 feet of water East of Kelley's Island in pursuit of big walleyes. We trolled 6 hours and ended up with 5 walleyes some were good ones but just not enough. So we decided to go for some perch for day two. We headed out to Rattlesnake Island and dropped some lake shiners to the bottom and also struggled. So we made a team decision to make a run back to Kelley's Island to an old archive spot and we ended up in the North Bay and fished in 29 feet of water due northeast of the State Park entrance. We caught 210 perch in a few hours all around 8-11 inches and had a ball.
