Any decent panfish?

Anyone been getting into any decent panfish as of late? I don't want any specific places or gps coordinates...just a general sense if people are getting anything worth talking about. General type and fishing techniques.

Went to thunder lake last weekend for my first time. I have seen lots of pictures of bass and pike over the years so went to check it out. Started throwing spinners and caught a bunch of hammer handles... Went to a twister tail and caught a few more when I started getting some smaller hits. Stopped and put on a slip bobber and leaf worm and got into some nice bluegills and pumpkinseeds. Lots of fun on the ultra light!
