Have a group of 6 guys looking for a place 6ish ours from chicago for some weekend walleye fishing. something as rustic as possible would be best. looking for the 1st weekend in august.

Hey stoophey,
Try the Chippewa Flowage by Hayward. There are campsites on the islands. Some are controlled by the DNR, and some by the LCO tribe.
The DNR sites are first come first serve. The tribal ones can be reserved. It is totally rustic, but with camp fire rings, and picnic tables.
