We had very good Musky fishing last weekend in the Mercer area. Unfortunately high pressure moved in on Monday and things slowed down a lot. The good news is the wind has switched to the south and some warm weather is moving in along with a chance for some rain and T-storms this weekend which should make the fishing very similar to what we had last weekend. I've been finding all my action on the weed edges in 8-12 feet of water. As far as bait selection goes we had fish eating topwater, jerkbaits, and swimbaits, it seemed like a different bait was hot every day so don't be afraid to switch it up until something starts working. Best time of day seems to be around sundown. Everyone have a safe and happy 4th!!
