Hanson and Lutz Outing

I had the pleasure of taking Mark Hanson and Scott Lutz out for a day of chasing smallmouth and muskies. Both gentlemen are excellent fisherman and we managed to put a number of smallmouth in the boat. The conversation was excellent as Scott is a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a PhD on Merriam turkeys. Needless to say he had my attention with story after story about his studies on the wild turkey and ruffed grouse in Manitoba. Both men are fired up to come back this fall and spend a day trying to catch the musky that got away today. Take a kid fishing
