The fishing has improved greatly with a little stable weather.
Muskies are holding in the 6-15 foot range near weeds or the first break edge. Small bucktails, crankbaits and topwater have been working well. Lots of follows with a few more fish hitting lately.
Walleye and Perch are in the same area 6-15 foot range holding in the weeds a 1/16 oz jig and a fathead minnow or leech has been working the best. An all day bite with a peak early and late.
Small Mouth Bass have been holding in the 8-15 foot range on the first break edge hard bottom made up of sand, gravel, and rock. Jig and a leech, tube or craw have been working with topwater in the evening.
Large Mouth Bass holding in the weeds in 10 feet of water or less. Look for stumps, trees, or brush piles in the water to be holding these fish. Texas rigged worms or crankbaits have been working with top water in the evening.
Crappie and Bluegill are in the 5-15 foot range in and around weeds. A Crappie minnow or chunk of worm under a slip bobber has been working best.
Good Luck to all.
