Yo yo. Not a lot of muskie talk for couderay on here so I fuigured I'd disseminate my findings for this season's opener. Didn't get on the water til almost nooner on monday. Long story short I spent a day and a half fishing the back bays with nothing but one tiny muskie and a bunch of pike to show for it. By noon on wednesday (then my last day) I was frustrated to say the least. Switched to mid-lake structure, found one, set another drift and nailed a 47" on a bucktail. Luckily there were some walleye anglers nearby who wanted to see the fish otherwise I wouldn't have a pic. Decided to go out one more time the next morning (had to be on the road by 9) and lost a big one off of a weedy, main-lake point. Saw another one on the same spot as before and raised a small tiger off moccasin bar. Wasn't quite ready to get off the water so I'm anxious to get back soon. Depending on the LCO action I may require a guided trip on the flowage by tanner or ty. Play on drummer...
