Been fishing bass the last three days. Action was decent on Saturday with a fair amount of largemouth caught. Fish up to 3lb. range. Spinnerbaits in the weeds about 5 feet deep worked the best. Saturday late in the day saw showers come into the area with a cold front accompanying the showers. Water temps dumped 4 degrees overnight. Sunday morning was quite slow and very tough fishing. As the day warmed up and sun eventually broke through a bit the fishing improved and while it was not a banner day, eventually we got some fish to hit. Pike started hitting bass baits first which is typical under these conditions. Later in the day bass started hitting again but average size smaller than Saturday. Didn't get out again until this evening for a night outing. Water temps back to what they were on Saturday and the bite much stronger again. Some nice largemouth caught with the largest being approx. 4 pounder. Should be back on muskies the rest of this week.
