My brother in law and I went out of Garden this morning at 7:00AM towards the head of the bay. When we got into 17 fow we set our lines out. We fished for about 15 min. and I had a hit. It was a good struggle for quiet some time but I won. lol The fish I landed was a 29" walleye on a green Hot n Tot. That eye was my biggest so far. My brother in law had a hit but then the motors died. As we were drifting waiting for a tow I threw out a green jig tipped with a half of a crawler and hit a nice bass. I returned it to the water. We ended up getting towed in but it sure looked like we were going to have a GREAT day.
