Last fall the MNR (Ministry of Natural Resources) did a walleye study on the lake. We got a copy of the results and they are just what we have been seeing:

In 2000 the average number of walleye per net was 14. In 2009 the average number was 20. The average number in all of Northwest Onatio lakes is 14. So, as they state, Eale Lake is in the top 25% of all lakes for walleye fishing.

Our end of the lake, the west end, had an average of 29. Which is way above the rest of the lake and also the rest of Northwest Ontario lakes.

If you'd like more information or want to try the walleye fishing here, just contact us. We're always happy to talk about fishing!
