June 3rd-6th report

Well, we fished for about six to eight hours each day with the exception of only a couple hours yesterday and had some tough fishing. We had about four fish hit and didn't catch any of them and saw about fifteen others. That probably sounds great but at this time of year that should be a daily occurrence. I'd say really tough fishing lately. Opening weekend was great from all the reports I heard. It kind of went downhill after that. Maybe things will pick back up.

Water temps were 75 a few days ago but are now 67 to 68 degrees.

I'll agree on the tough conditions.

I'm on vacation this week and I'm struggling to put one in the net. Lost a decent one on a Pacemaker the other day, then got a sub 30" fish later on. That was my only action in 8 1/2 hours.

I was thinking of hitting the Chip, but I'm doing well not catching anything up here so I'll save my gas money.

Dropping water temps, east wind, rain, more rain. Depression. More wind. ha!
