Well hopefully everyone made it through the first holiday season for the lake. It was pretty packed out there all weekend long which is a good thing. Everyone drive safe back home and make sure you come back next year..

The fish seem to go from one pattern to the next. Before this week the fish were biting pretty good in the bushes then mother nature throws a fast ball at us and put us right into a summer time pattern. For the last few days most of the fish have been taken out over weeds on big rubber stuff such as Bull Dawgs, EXO's, Medussa, and a little bit of Cowgirl action. That is a big change from 1oz spinnerbaits in the brush. They have cut back a little bit on drawing the lake I have not check because it's so early right now but it's somewhere around 2 feet no more than that. The water is pretty clear but with all the traffic out there this weekend we had a lot of floating weeds. All the ramps are opened up now so that should help things out some. Also don't forget trolling it has been very productive also with this kind of pattern out on the weed edges with these fish coming in early and then leaving out mid day they are holding out on the edges.

Make sure you stop in and check things out this week.. Good Luck..

Hey Man it's close to summer pool if not at summer pool. They did cut back on the draw down earlier in the week but it's still falling. These rains the last two days have went all around us. We need some rain bad it's crazy to say that after the flood but we do. I'm out all weekend will post report Monday..
