I am interested in trying como lake as I have it heard it does not get quite the pleasure boat traffic that Delevan and Geneva has. Is it worth fishing for northerns and bass? Does anyone have any tips?

I am thinking spinner baits and mepps in the weeds.

All catch and release of course. Thanks for any assistance.

Como Lake should not be over looked it has good populations of largemouth bass and northern pike. With it's smaller shallower size Acres:946 square acres, Mean Depth:4 feet, Max Depth:9 feet, it is best May and June when there is new weed growth as the weeds become bigger and thicker it becomes harder and harder to fish. I like to cast weedless topwater baits like Heddon's Mouse, Johnson's Silver Minnow Spoons and weedless worms. Because of those weeds some of fishing pressure stays away not wanting to fight the weeds.
Let us know what you catch. Hope this helps!
