Wednesday greeted my 2 clients and I to yet another day of clear bright sky's, little or no winds, and a slowdown in action compared to Tuesday. Working the same area and structure, deep water over submerged stumps, we found 1 eye here and 1 there, all tight to the bottom. Dragging our Reeves weedless jigs tipped with fatheads over the bottom worked the best as the walleye were really in a lazy mood and not aggressive at all. We did end up with our limits and had a dozen or so throwbacks before we quit at 2 PM due to the hot temps. Looks to be even warmer today, will be out there again today, will keep you posted.
