Pickerel Lake next weekend - advice ?

Morning everyone, happy Friday.

Getting ready to head up next weekend 20-23rd. Staying on Pickerel Lake. It's been several years since I've been able to fish this lake. Last I remember were lots of active small pike. Hoping they have gotten a bit bigger this time around. Looking mostly for pike and bass.

Any suggestions or feedback would be much appreciated ....

I assure you the pike have stayed the same size. But there is a lot of them and they are easy to catch. Just throw whatever you want over the weed and you will hook up. This time of year when the water is still clear I like to throw blue husky jerks or any other twitch bait in blue. Work it very erratic. Bass I prefer plastics.

Should be good barring a cold front. Weather is supposed to be warm. Nice weekend warmed water temps into the 60's on most lakes. Find the weeds and fish them. Mouth of the river should be good.

if it is the one on J which is one of my favorite lakes. water levels seem to be way down
