We fished walleye and pike and even some crappie and bluegills the last few days. The fishing was pretty slow overall but we did manage to get some walleyes out of it with one nice 25 incher being the largest. We just caught another nice one this morning. That one was 27 1/4 inches. The larger fish have been in shallow weeds with the smaller fish out deep. The bluegill were pretty easy to catch and good eating size. The crappie were going good for a while and slowed down some with the weather. They may all together shut down with todays weather. We should be able to scratch together some walleye tonight for that Treelands tourney. This weather is crappy but wont effect them as much as the crappie now that they are done spawning. We've got to get one bigger than 27 1/2 to beat the leader. It's going to be tough.

Hey Ty, after getting the days right after your mix-up (lqtm) :) we had a blast. We caught some fish and definitely had a few laughs... Here's the 25" walleye from the 6th. It doesn't look that big in my nephew's hands because he's 6'4" and pushing 300. I think the wally came to the boat due to the bright red glow coming off of Casey, one of the fair skinned 'Ginger Folk'.

Saw this boat at a stop along the way and thought it was pretty funny.

Thanks again,

MS

Good time as always Mike. That boat is pretty clever. Thanks for posting the pictures.
