fished tuesday wed, caught walleyes on jig and gulp leech or 1/2 crawler. A sharp drop off with wind from 3 to 11 ft seemed all where on the break with a weedy bottom. All where caught in the 7 ft range. Kept 3- 17 inchers. Northerns where hitting the leech and pulled many smallmouths drifting over top of reef, they where full of eggs. Bite seemed to be later in the day.
first walleye in morn when put on stringer and threw over the side hear commotion under the boat , here is a very very large Musky with his mouth around the 17 inch walleye on the stringer going around and around,yikes. He finally let go as I was pulling on stringer.
