Most of the piers around the area should be in by now. Lake levels continue to be low. Hopefully with the rain coming in the next day or two, the lake levels will improve. Anglers have been having a bit of success around the Chain. Cherokee Marsh has been producing some action on Catfish. The Nau-Ti-Gal area has had some occasional action with Whitebass, Catfish, and a few Crappies. Monona Bay has been a good area for some Crappie and Bluegill action. Start looking for Crappies to become more active in Squaw Bay on Lake Monona in 6-8' of water. Lake Waubesa reports have been slow, but as the water continues to warm, Crappie and Bluegill action typically picks up near Lake Farm Park, Hog Island, and on the south end of the lake. We have had no reports from Lake Kegonsa. Crystal Lake action has been spotty, with the lake level still being high. Walleye action has been slow everywhere lately.
