I have an opportunity to do some fishing on Kinkaid this Thursday thru Saturday. Have the muskies started spawning yet? I hope not.

Yes they have. Our biologist started running his trap nets today, and got quite a few fish. Some of the females were already free flowing, so they are definitely beginning to spawn. Maybe that is why the fishing has been absolutely terrible lately.

Thanks Chad. Good news is my trip got postponed until April 10 & 11. Hopefully the bites back on by then. Bad news is I'm not fishing this weekend.
