Feels like the Spring season has arrived. Our snow in Buffalo, MN is mostly gone and local lakes ice is starting to turn dark. If the weather holds, expect we will be seeing some MN ice-out starting next week.

The snow is mostly melted in Nestor Falls. Kakagi (Crow) Lake usually has ice-out 3-5 weeks after our Buffalo, MN ice-out. We like seeing the Kakagi ice-out around 1st of May and looking to be on track.

.......

Jean and I took Jenny and Amy to Fargo, ND to see Bon Jovi in concert. It was awesome and highly recommended even if you are only a slight fan.

.......

We apologize for the inconvenience of our website being unavailable for most of two days, this week. We are now hosted on a different web server as a result of the other server running out of disk space on Sunday.

.....

If you send us an e-mail and we don't respond within 1-2 days, please give us a call. When we are "unresponsive" it often means we did not receive your e-mail or our response was lost along the way back to you. Expecting the problem could be worse in the coming months. The newer web server has newer SPAM e-mail filtering software and our Canada DSL provider is known to have some issues in this area.

......

Our River2Sea lures arrived and we will have a great variety of Lake Trout lures at our lodge this coming season. A few Bass, Muskie and Pike lures also in the mix.

.......

We ordered more Boreal Bay Lodge hats for this season. Hats ordered were the black with camo trim and brown oil skin.

We have a good supply of Boreal Bay Lodge Guide shirts and T-shirts, along with a few jackets.

.......

The 30lb Lake Trout from 2009 is mounted with expected delivery to us in early to mid May. We are very excited about putting this up on the wall of the lodge.

.......

We have a new TomFoolery to post in a couple days when the website is solid.

Also will be posting a Cabin Availability update the weekend.

We are working on a few other projects for the resort, we will post more on that topic in the weeks ahead.

Girlie says she is ready to go back to Canada and get the 2010 season going!

Regards,
