Have fished Lake Wausau the past two mornings and have had pretty good success. Saturday the fish hit pretty much on minnows and tipdowns and the bite seemed to happen right at sunrise but Sunday, most fish were hitting extremely light and really preferred waxworms. I was using Northland's Hexi-fly. Sunday's fish would come in streaks but seemed to pick up as the morning got warmer. The ice is excellent with 18-24" of solid ice. I would stay away from the river channels as there is a lot of water moving through the lake. Make sure you bring some ice creepers also. Will post pictures tomorrow. Take a kid fishing
