Ice Fishing Report for Thursday March 11

I went out ice fishing this morning just looking to catch fish for dinner tonight with friends. Went to a smaller weedy lake, right away in the morning the bite was fast and furious. got plenty of gills, and some crappies and some nice perch. About every other bluegill was to small for dinner, and the crappies weren't huge but big enough for dinner. some were caught on tip-downs, but most of the fish were caught on jigs and spikes, in about 7-8 feet of water in weeds. Had to move around to find the fish, but when you found them they were there for a while. Ice is going out quickly with the rain and warm weather.
