just wundering if anyone knows how the ice is over there. truck safe or not. would like to go there in the morning.

Ice is good. Believe more there than on LBD. Have to go on at Garden and drive around to kates bay if you are fishing there.

Lots of ice! Guys I've talked to recently have said they nearly bottomed out the auger! If you have an extension, you may want to bring it.

Anyone been over fishing Kate's Bay recently? If so, how's the perchin been??

Got a dozen keepers yesterday, 8 to 11 inches. Caught around 30 total. The ice is very good out there, 26 to 30 plus inchhes. Drove out of kates bay and is a little bumpy at the begining and never put in 4wd.
