Please be advised that the 9th Annual Intermediate and Advanced Muskie School will be held March 20, 2010 at Waunakee High School. Doors open at 7am for check in.

Many of you have already signed up as we have around 90 students and instructors registered as of today. You can download a registration form on the home page of this website by clicking on Activities and Events and scroll down to March 20.

REGISTER BEFORE 3/15/10 and the Registration Fee is a $29.00 bargain. REGISTER AFTER 3/15/10 or at the door and the Registration Fee goes up to $39.00. Youth fee for those 18 and under is still only $5.00.

If you wish to actually build a muskie rod and elect that class you must contact Geoff Crandall (608-831-6020 evenings) as soon as possible to order your materials. I can also answer any questions that you may have. Steve Reinstra, 608-770-7131.

If you haven't sent in your registration form & fee for the Muskie School yet make sure you get your letter postmarked by Monday, March 15 and you are eligible for the early signup fee of $29.00.

After March 15 we have to report our numbers to the food Caterer for lunch orders and the price will go up to $39.00. The fee for those 18 years old and under will still remain at $5.00. You may still register at the door for $39.00 but we recommend sending in the advance registration to obtain your preferred classes.

We will have a record turnout for the 9th Annual Muskie School this year with 145 students registered.... and counting as well as 30 instructors.

Those who arrive by 7:30a will get thru the line quickly and have time to catch coffee and dounts.

I hope to see you all at the Checkin Table on Saturday morning!

Open kickoff session starts at 8:20a

We still have room for all classes so if you haven't pre-registered you can still register at the door at 7:30am at the Commons-Cafeteria entrance to Waunakee High School Saturday. Price at the door is still a very affordable $39.00 which includes a great catered lunch and coffee, juice and donuts in the morning.

Special note: If you signed up for Lee Tauchen's Wisconsin River Muskie Class at 9am the classroom assignment has been changed from Room 1205 to the Performing Arts Center (Auditorium). The Spring Muskie Class is also bursting at the seams but that class will be changed from the Performing Arts Center to Room 1205.

Our super raffle contains a great high end rod reel combo and a separate donated Fenwick 8' rod and reel as well! Two Combos to give away! Over 60 prizes in the regular raffle and free door prizes and a rod and reel combo for a lucky kid!

We have a record attendance for the 9th Annual Muskie School this year.

Doors open at 7:30a sharp.

Hope to see you there. Any questions call me at 608-770-7131

The Muskie School was a great success! We had around 190 paid attendees and 24 kids signed up. This was a record attendance. Thanks to all of you, attendees and instructors who made this a super event.
