Wow tonight was the best fishing Ive seen all winter. I started out with my two blondies in the harbor we caught 5 little perch and didnt get a hit on tip ups we only fished for about an hour and a half. Then after ma picked up the girls I left the beach and went south. I went 3 for 5 tonight hitting a cycle though, one on a tip up sucker, one on a deadstick sucker, and one jigging a firetiger moonshine with a minnow head. Action was fast starting with a miss at 5:45pm and then 3 fish in 15mins. Lost a huge walleye at the hole with my gaff sitting right next to me I thought it was outside from the tip up fish. And lost one about halfway up. The 3 that I put on ice were 27" 23" and 20". A buddy of mine was probably 200 yds from me and not marking anything so he came down and fished in my tip up hole. He landed a nice 8lber on the firetiger moonshine. Fish shut off around 6:30.
