We lost a great muskie fisherman this past weekend when Jack Burns was killed in a snowmobile accident. Jack was not only a great muskie fisherman, but a great man. I had the joy of rooming with him the last two years of Operation Muskie. He was the editor of Esox Angler magazine, and always encouraged me to write articles. I will miss you greatly Jack!!! It won't be the same this summer at Operation Muskie not seeing you there!

Hadn't met Jack, but heard many great stories from Dick Pearson about Jack.
Surprised there's no thread from Bay Store Camp about Jack.
Sorry for your loss. Like you said, after rooming with Jack at Operation Muskie, it won't be the same.
Congrats on new baby girl. No matter how old they get, your girls will always sit in your lap.
Retired Jan. 1, 2010 after 47 years working. More time to head South to Kincaid this Spring with Carl. try to look you up.
