Was guiding last Wednesday on LCO for bluegill and pike. it was a bit slower than it was over the weekend. Got a handful of bluegill and a bunch of pike. the bluegills were in about 10 feet of water in the weeds. same with the pike. got the bluegills on gill pills and spikes, and the pike on shiners and tip-ups.

Friday, guided on LCO again for walleye. had tip-ups set on a main lake rock bar. got a few flags during the day. a few small pike, I think the other flags were perch or rock bass. then in the evening client got a walleye just a hair over 20 inches on a tip-up and sucker in about 18 feet of water on rocks.

Posted some of the pics of the bluegills from last weekend too.

Good luck,

Sounds like you were pounding the big blugills pretty good when I was off getting married! Looks like you got a couple pigs in those pictures.

Have you been driving your truck on LCO? If so, do you have to be pretty careful with knowing where to drive, or is the whole lake pretty safe?

I've been wanting to get over to LCO or Grindstone this winter, but it's either truck or foot travel, and I don't know what to think of driving the truck on those two lakes.

Also, I've been out on Chetac a few times in the last couple weeks and have been doing okay on perch in about 22 feet of water. Nothing too crazy, but been getting a few here and there. Have only set tipups out there one evening and had a 16 inch walleye.
