Wednesday guided out on LCO with a great group of guides, and it was really slow, only had two flags all day. Talked to a buddy of mine and he said that same day over in st. germain area it was really slow as well, just must have been one of those days.
thursday guided out on a differnt lake, had a group of 5 guys I was guiding. we set up on a weed edge and on a little rock bar, I would say we had about 20-25 flags all day, and we limited out on walleye, they were bitting all day long, and got a few bass and pike and perch too. fish were anywhere from 10-20 feet of water on tip-ups.
there is anywhere from 10-15 inches of ice, it is really inconsistant. but people are driving trucks on the ice.
