Hello Everyone,

Fishing had been pretty slow late last week, but this week seems to be bringing more panfish and walleyes.

Reports came in from out on the Somo near the Tomahawk Lodge that 12-14" perch are being caught on Milwaukee shiners and fatheads.

Lake Alice remains the most popular this time of year with reports of limits of bluegills being caught just off the landings in the bays. Northerns have also been very active out there as well. Walleyes are being caught later in the evening just off the bottom with Medium Shiners.

Lake Mohawksin has been producing some Walleyes as well with the best reports coming from over in the bays near the papermill/86 bridge area. Walleye suckers seem to be working best on that lake. Perch are being caught in the bays and near the trestles and stump fields.

Crappies are holding relatively deep still, in the channels and in holes. Hali jigs and spoons have been working the best!!

Hope to see you all soon!!
