Depending on where you're at, our local waters have around 4" of good ice and climbing due to the bitter weather as of late. Lots of guys out on the ice today, with panfish, pike, and walleyes all providing action right now in our area.

Managed to make it out Sunday a.m. (Early) Hit one of our local waters to check out a spot that I thought might hold some early ice walleyes and was not disappointed. Before all of the tip-ups were in, flags started popping. By the time we left at 8:00 am we had caught numerous walleyes - with several in the slot, and some bonus pike. A good start to the season. Take a kid fishing
