Last night we rolled into Escanaba for the last trip of the year. After finding the gate locked at the river we went to see Chris Wahl at the bait shop and he told us where to launch (Escanaba Harbor) and where to fish. We fished until everything started freezing up. We caught 5 fish - 4 on deep diving Husky Jerks 95 feet back, and one on 2 colors. All the fish we caught were in 20-25 fow. The water temp is still in the 40's so it looks like there still might be a little time to use the boat.

No problem, glad to help. Did you get any big ones? I wasn't thinking when you guys asked where to get sand for the launch. You were only 50 yards away from the swimming beach. You could have ran over with a bucket and grabbed all the sand you needed for nothing.
