Perch fishing is hot in the western basin from Colchester to Leamington with limits being caught with a good avg size too. I fished Leamington Sat Nov 14 and once we found the school it was lights out! Perch rigs with minnows fished in 30-35 fow is the ticket.
Walleye fishing in Breast Bay is giving up quality fish. Anglers are running cranks, Reef Runners or Husky Jerks in various colors with good results and some larger fish being caught.
Musky fishing near many of the river mouths have been very good and once again BIG fish are being taken. For a lake that was known as a numbers lake that has changed with 3 muskies being caught over 40lbs this yr.
Casting, jigging and trolling have all been working with cranks and soft plastics working for the casters. Bondy Baits doing the damage for jiggers and Nils and Woodies working for the trollers.
