Well I was out last Wed., the 7th, on Mendota (Northern fishing, no big fish, just hammer handles) and the water temp had dropped to 59.9 in less than a week so with this nice "Fall" weather it shouldn't be long before we reach turnover temperature. So.....would someone be nice enough to update this post when turnover occurs please. I know that there is not alot of traffic on this site for some reason but I am hoping that there is at least one fellow fisherman that will help me. Why don't I just go out and look for myself you ask? 'Cause I don't live around Madison. Thanks in advance for the help. :)

Hopefully this link might help you. It's a monitoring bouy in lake mendota. It has real-time data for temperatures at various depths, as well as other info.

Thank You very, very much for that site. It tells me instantly that turnover has just occurred, not to mention wind speed and direction and barometric pressure too. Thanks again!!!!
